Pitane is an Aboriginal word meaning "Meeting Place".
Our patron is Ms Julie McCrossin, well known media personality and broadcaster.
Pitane hosts a range of recovery activities for people with mental illness. Recovery activities such as:
- Art Alive
- Information, Education & Training courses/workshops.
- Men's Social & Support Group
- One Off Recovery & Social Activities
- WRAP Groups (Wellness Recovery Action Plan)
The majority of these activities are hosted at local community venues. Some are hosted at the CAN Office.
