Meet the Current CAN Board of Management
As an independent, not for profit charity, CAN (Mental Health) Inc has a Board of Management. This board consists of consumers (ordinary members) and interested individuals (individual associate members) as per the organisation's constitution. The CAN constitution states the ratio of board members must be more consumers than interested individuals.
The current serving Board Members are:
- Mrs Jackie Crowe (Victoria) - Chairperson/Secretary
- Ms Debbie Carr (NSW) - Deputy Chairperson
- Mr Zach Jaensch (Victoria) - Board Member
- Mr David Harries (Victoria) - Treasurer
- Mr Rami Mandow (NSW) - Board Member
- Mrs June White (NSW) - Board Member
For many years now CAN Mental Health Inc has had a national board of management. If you are interested in becoming a CAN Board Member please don't hesitate to either contact the Executive Officer (Ms Desley Casey) or the Chairperson (Mrs Jackie Crowe).
Board members are elected for a 2 year term (with half standing down for re-election annually at the AGM) and are selected and/or invited to participate for the range of talents and skills they hold to support and assist the board with strategic directions which support the mission, purpose and vision of the organisation
