The Hon. Mark Butler, federal minister for mental health has announced that up to $4 Million will be provided to establish a new national mental health consumer peak body.  For the first 2 years the new peak body will be auspiced by the Consumers Health Fourm and will subsequently transition to management in its own right.

Congratulations to mental health consumers across Australia who have advocated long and hard for the establishment of this new national mental health consumer peak body.
