Minister for Mental Health, the Hon. Mark Butler has released the "Final Report of the Scoping Study to inform the Establishment of a New Peak National Mental Health Consumer Organisation (March 2010)" and the Australian Government's response to the Final Report's recommendations.

In early 2012 the Minister will call for nominations from consumers from across  Australia to submit an expression of interest in forming the reference group which will progress the establishment of the new national mental health consumer peak body.
